My research centers on the development of genomic tools and the study of genetic diversity in woody plant cultivars, including avocado, cherimoya, grapevine, and their wild relatives. This work provides essential insights for breeding programs and conservation efforts. I follow a multidisciplinary approach that integrates field sampling, laboratory techniques, and advanced genomic analyses.
