Specialized in the reproductive biology of subtropical species, my work is carried out from a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates histology, molecular biology, and genetics. The research line I am part of focuses mainly on the characterization of genes associated with ovule development, aiming to understand the molecular mechanisms that regulate this process. This research has a direct and applied impact on the improvement of subtropical fruit crops.
